Rafsan Hasan is a renowned South Asian singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in New York City. Known for his powerful voice and musical versatility, he earned widespread recognition as the 2nd Runner-Up of RTV Young Star USA 2023, one of the most prestigious televised singing competitions for the Bengali-American community.
In 2024, Rafsan represented South Asian heritage on the world stage, performing at the United Nations Headquarters in New York for International Mother Language Day. He has also served as a mentor and judge for multiple community talent shows and cultural events.
Rafsan's unique blend of traditional Bengali melodies and modern acoustic arrangements has earned him praise from audiences, media outlets, and cultural organizations alike. His work continues to inspire the next generation of performers in the diaspora and beyond. Beginning his musical journey in early childhood, Rafsan rose through competitive platforms, from winning university championships to leading his band "RETAKE." Today, he's known globally for his powerful voice, cultural representation, and groundbreaking performances.
